The Ultimate Card written by Gabriel RIVAT The Ultimate Card is a solitaire card game with 32 cards. It is pure hazard, easy to play but quite hard to succeed. If you succeed, perhaps another chance to win ?... VERY IMPORTANT: =============== This program uses the 32-bit "cards.dll" from Microsoft. This DLL is normally included in the System32 directory of WinXP,2000,NT and you have nothing to do when running one of these OS. If, on the other hand, you use Win98 or 95, these late OS include the 16-bit version of "cards.dll" which is incompatible with the program. Then, to run the program, it is mandatory to download the 32-bit release of "cards.dll" (size about 350 Kb) and copy it on your HD in the same directory as the program. Be sure that this directory does not include some other card games that require the 16-bit "cards.dll" unless they would not run correctly !!!! HOW TO PLAY ? ============= Very easy. The goal is to arrange in descending order i.e. A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, the 32 cards of a mixed pack which cards are facing down. When arranging cards, each line must be of the same suit. It's up to you to choose the line color. After dealing, the player chooses a first card that will go to the talon. Then he moves that card to the arranged position as defined at the bottom of the table. The replaced card will then automatically be moved to the talon and so on ... The player succeeds when ALL cards have been moved to their final position. This means that the Ultimate Card must be moved on the position of the very first choosen card. If you are lucky, this would be the case. If not, just hope that the remaining cards will fit exactly their final position ! Good luck Gabriel RIVAT http://www.f6dqm.fr
