Freeware to create azimuthal maps of the Earth.
OS : Windows XP and later.
Supported languages : English, French.
Linux/Ubuntu/Androïd users may run AZIWORLD through WINE 1.0 or CROSSOVER.
AZIWORLD generate azimuthal maps of the Earth centered on any location.
After saving the map in .bmp format, it may be personalized easily.
AZIWORLD displays the geographical position of any country and computes the
azimuth and the distance from the center of the map. By the means of AZIPOINT
(see this freeware), you will be able to point automatically your antenna
towards this country. AZIWORLD and AZIPOINT are linked together.
If installing AZIWORLD, it is recommanded to install AZIPOINT at the time to be
sure that the two softwares are compliant.
